I think it really depends on what you want to do with it. I have also been a DEll users for years. Haven't tried their Streak 7 yet. I just can't imagine many of the computation I currently do with my Inspiron, they can be done with their tablet. I might be wrong though.

I have been using Dell for years and love it. I am thinking of trying out the Tablet for the first time. Given the war between the notebooks and tablets, should I go for Dell Streak 7 Tablet or their Inspiron 15R and why?
